Why the Bible speaks explicitly about Solomon's skin?

The Bible says, even in the first chapter, that Solomon was black and comely, then why some people speaks that God curse Afro-Americans with a black skin. I believe those who set to create mayhem and division in America should be imprisoned. Why? because they are hurting the 'merry' country's prosperity and promoting modern day slavery. But, alas, there are some blacks that believe their story, and also their Bible, altered to prove racism.
