I want to start selling my crafts from home, part-time. I have a name, and logo, what next?

I want to sell my crafts part-time from home. I have a business name that I would like to use, as well as a logo that I have created, but legally, I don't know where to go from here. Do I have to get my name and logo trademarked or copy righted? Do I have to register my business anywhere? Any references, books, websites, opinions, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated!!
