Is there anyone that is Muslim and is willing to answer some of my questions regarding your religion?

I don't like to judge and don't want to be ignorant to your ways thus i ask these questions. I was watching part of the House of Saddam and I was wondering why there is a never ending fight between all these middle eastern religions.Second, someone told me that the Koran tells Muslim that if they were to convert out of the their religion, they must be seek-ed out and killed. They say that's the reason why Obama is not liked by the Muslims. I didn't even know he was muslim, I thought he was born in Hawaii. I would just like to know which are the names for the religions in the Middle East and a brief description of their beliefs please.
