Please help me...house after bankruptcy?

me and my husband are in the beginning of filing chapter 7 bankruptcy. and we are also having to let the house go back to the bank. Where can we live until then. Can we rent a house? Could we do a rent to own, maybe for 2 years. And we do have a co signer that is willing to sign a rental aggrement with us. thank you so much!
