Wedding reception help please? plates, gles...?

Okay, I am getting married of 7/11/09. I was wondering what we should do about tableware. Okay my reception will be at a regular banquet hall, nothing major. Carpet and tables. Nothing like a ballroom or Museum. I will be having 200 guest (including children) and we are providing our own food! Should I rent china or just go buy plastic- ware (It will be the kind that really doesn’t look plastic) It will be buffet style, and again we are inviting kids, so we don’t want kids dropping rented china. Also we were thinking of having real water goblets for glware? Along with real linen napkins? What do you suggest?
