Why doesnt the Turkish army liberate Syria?

The Turks are always bosting about powerful their military is. then why dont they liberate Syria, which is literally next door and facing genocide by ad's regime. The people of Syria are being killed on the streets everyday and facing the worse kind of torture . The Syrian regime cant put up with an uprising inside the country while facing a Turkish invasion at the same time. The Syrian army of ad is demoralized and busy dealing with the protesters. The Turkish army could gain experience, prestige, and free the Syrian people.
